Image usage
ChaloStays is a boutique booking platform. Photography exists to show real places and drive guests to the property that owns the stay — not to build a stock library.
What we prefer
- Photos the property owner uploads in their portal media library.
- Marketing packs hosts or destination partners give to agents and booking platforms for promotion.
- Licensed or otherwise cleared destination imagery when a place needs atmosphere beyond what a new listing has yet shot.
Attribution & benefit
When an image comes from a known author, partner brand, or property marketing set, we credit that source and keep a clear path back to the stay or experience. The commercial point of every listing photo is the same: a guest books with the host on ChaloStays, not with a middleman.
Attribution and sending business to the owner are our ethical baseline. They are not a substitute for permission. We do not treat “found online + a link” as a free licence for unrelated third-party photos.
Experiences & destinations
Curated Victoria Falls and Southern Africa experiences may use imagery supplied by ChaloStays operators or partner travel brands we control or work with. Where a third-party source is used, we aim to note it and keep the experience page linked to booking and enquiry paths that serve the guest and the local operator.
Credit or removal
If you are a photographer, property, or rights holder and want a credit updated or an image removed, contact us through the owner portal contact option or email the property listed on the relevant stay page. We will act promptly on clear ownership claims.
